Nurse Injector Kara Holt, RN, BSN

Kara’s passion for all things beauty, particularly cosmetics and skincare, is what led her to pursue a career as an Esthetician. In 2011 she began her studies at the Chrysm Institute of Esthetics where she completed both the Professional and Master Esthetics programs. Once licensed, she worked in a variety of settings including plastic surgery, day spas, dental offices, laser clinics, and wellness centers. Through her career as an Esthetician, she treated many different types of skin and gained extensive experience with lasers, radio frequency, and other esthetic modalities.

In 2022, with over a decade of experience in the Esthetics industry, she went on to study at the Sentara College of Health Sciences, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Through this education, she gained greater insight into the physiological process of aging and how it affects our skin.

When she’s not busy rewinding the hands of time, she enjoys being by the water and spending time with friends and family. She makes a mean baklava and is a huge plant lover with 80+ cultivars in her collection.
