The Restylane family of products includes Restylane and Restylane Lyft. Both are FDA-approved cosmetic fillers designed to smooth away wrinkles and folds in the skin of the face and the lips.
What Is the Active Ingredient in Restylane?
The active ingredient in Restylane® and Restylane Lyft is derived from hyaluronic acid, which is a natural sugar found in the skin. The difference between the two is in the gel particle size. Restylane Lyft gel particles are larger and designed for deeper injection than Restylane. Based on your evaluation, the doctor will decide which product is right for you. Visit www.RestylaneUSA.com.

What To Expect
Before getting your Restylane injections, Dr. Lopes will mark the areas of your face where you will receive your treatment. Then, using a very fine microneedle, she will inject Restylane into the targeted areas. This procedure typically lasts less than an hour, and you will start to see some results almost immediately.
You may experience some minor side effects, like redness, swelling, bruising, and/or pain at the injection site. These side effects are common and should dissipate in a couple days. Results can last anywhere from six to eighteen months, depending on the product used during your treatment.
